To have an hourglass figure, you need to have a waist that actually goes in. You know, wide-narrow-wide. Like an hourglass. I can’t recall ever seeing a pic of her like that. Her body goes pretty much straight down from her ribs to her hips. This isn’t new either. Go look up her stuff from a decade ago.
You can carry some extra fat and still have an hourglass figure (see Alexis Faye). But having a bit of extra fat doesn’t mean you’ve got an hourglass figure.

BINGO! The problem with the adjective “curvy” is that it’s all too often applied to women who are simply FAT. A couple extra lbs CAN be carried well, but too many of today’s models are borderline obese (if not beyond that). You’re right on the mark regarding an hourglass shape, something LC NEVER was.
