Former Model Louise Glover Now Living in a Tent!

In 2006, and 20-years old, Louise Glover was chosen as Playboy’s Model of the Year – the first model from the UK to get the honor! It was a big deal, even Boobie Blog covered it with a post. Louise even ended up living in Hugh Hefner’s mansion.

Now, at 42-years old she has ended up homeless and living in a £60 ($80) tent.

She has started a GoFundMe page to try and get enough money to buy a houseboat so she can ditch the tent. She has said she needs around £9,000 ($12,000) to buy a boat, which would help her feel “safe” and “secure”.

Louise has also been trying to find work, but described it as “so hard”.

In a recent interview with The Sun, she said “People say to me, ‘Go get a job.’ But I am all over the place. I am still homeless, so I am living day to day.”

Louise had been living in a £550-a-month room in Windsor, but her businesses started to go down hill just as her rent was hiked to £750.

Let’s hope she gets that boat!

  1. “Playboy really lost their way when it came fake boobs in the mid 2000’s)”?

Implants were already everywhere in the early to mid 90s, and while there were some great ones (Erika Eleniak) it was more that every choice was trying to be the next Pamela Anderson that made the decade lack identity.

Even pornography got a lot of mileage out of that prescribed look.

  2. If she was a ‘unique’ member of the Playboy family (first UK PMOY), why isn’t she taking advantage of that resource? In it’s glory years, Playboy was known for supporting it’s girls, unless they did something really bad. So why isn’t she living in one of the great Playboy places and working for them? Did she do something?

  3. First of all, I’d bet she went through money like it was Monopoly money. She thought the millions of dollars she was making would never run out. Second, I’m sure at least one great regular guy loved her, wanted to marry her and she thought she was too good for him. Third, she’s obviously not a very good person. Because if she was, somebody in her family or one of her friends would let her live with them. So basically, she thought her looks and money would last forever and ahe over played her hand and ran face first into the wall. I don’t feel sorry for her at all.
