In the world of escorting, there are plenty of acronyms that clients, agencies and independents
use to describe services they offer. Sometimes they use acronyms to protect the safety and
legality of the services, and sometimes it’s just a more elegant way of describing a particular act.
That’s why we asked a London escort agency to explain some of the most common
abbreviations, what they mean and why you might hear them.
Why do they use so Many Acronyms?
Over the years of the UK sex industry’s development, it has established its own shorthand for
many services. The main reason for this is discretion. Privacy is paramount in this world to
protect both its workers and its clients. Many of these abbreviations have become
commonplace.
It’s important to note that sex work is legal in the UK, so, unlike some other countries, this isn’t
necessarily to protect from any legal action. Still, there’s a need for specificity here without being
explicit. Clients want to know exactly what they’re getting, and service providers need to be able
to state boundaries clearly.
The internet also has a part to play in the wide acceptance of the way these services are
described.
DFK – Deep French Kiss
Not all escorts allow kissing, let alone passionate French kissing. Profiles marked with DFK do,
but sometimes at an extra cost.
GFE – Girlfriend Experience
Girlfriend experience is one of the most widely debated escort services around. Some say that it
outlines a combination of services, while others focus on the “vibe”. In general, a GFE booking
puts the emphasis on care, attention and affection. It’s extremely popular, and many people
report that a GFE session feels more authentic and less transactional
PSE – Pornstar Escorts
Pornstar escorts have become increasingly popular in recent years, and there are two
categories. Real pornstars, and pornstaresque experiences. Believe it or not, there are actual
adult film stars (famous ones) who offer escorting services. There are also regular escorts who
will do some of the more adventurous acts and positions that you see in porn.
DP – Double penetration
This is exactly what you think it is, although it can mean slightly different things in different
contexts. For example, if the escort also offers threesomes, this could be two clients. On the
other hand, a client might enlist the assistance of a trusty toy to be their second.
DT – Deep throat
A staple of PSE escorts, you’ve probably seen it; congratulations if you’ve experienced it.
WS – Watersports
A more delicate way of referring to golden showers or pee play. Some sites separate WS
escorts into “givers” and “receivers” so that boundaries stay clear and consent is by choice.
MMF – Male male female
A threesome involving two men and a woman.
FFM – Female female male
A threesome involving two women and a man.
RP – Roleplay
Think naughty nurse or horny policewoman and burglar. Roleplay isn’t for everyone, and it’s an
acquired skill, so if you’re looking for this, it helps to know whether an escort knows what they’re
doing or not.
CIM/COF/COB – Cum in mouth, cum on face, cum on body
Pretty self-explanatory. This one’s all about where the big finish happens.
OWO – Oral without
OWO refers to oral sex without a condom. Most escorts offer oral with as a “standard” service,
but it’s usually going to cost you extra to go without.
A-Level – Anal
A very British way of describing anal sex. As such, you’ll find it under different names
elsewhere, like “Greek” in the States.
BDSM – Bondage, domination, sadism, masochism
A catch-all term that includes various areas of fetish, including restraints, leather/latex, inflicting
pain and receiving pain, for example.
B2B – Body to body (massage)
A nude massage that involves the giver using their whole body. The practice is the same as a
nuru massage, although nuru is defined by a specific kind of seaweed gel used
