100 bucks to see stuff again? Craziness.

Dude, its a membership for life. I went to a pub with a girl on Saturday and food + drinks was over $100. Before that we went to the movies and tickets and popcorn was about $50 so even though I had fun, I wasted $150 on nonsense on a single day. Compared to everything else, a lifetime membership to a good website for $100 is almost free.

I will never understand the.. $5 every day at Starbucks – no problem but $5 for an app or a months access to a website.. NO WAY!! TOO MUCH!!

What I don’t understand – how is their site even legal? They don’t own the copyright to any of the films whose nude scenes they ripped to put them on their site.

Copyright law allows for “fair use” for the purposes of review and criticism and this is what they argue when asked about that. But, the studios actually encourage some sites like Mr Skin and even send him advance copies of their films – it drives eyeballs and dollars towards their way. It’s also good for the actresses as well, just look at Alexandra Daddario. Here’s a couple of good articles on Mr Skin: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/23/business/media/23skin.html and http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/news/not-safe-for-work-how-hollywood-helped-mr-skin-become-a-porn-empire-20140502

You’d get sued to death immediately here in Germany. Different copyright laws I suppose.
